Topic	Temperature: MWATs in Southern Tributaries (Fahrenheit)

 

Caption:  This chart plots the maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) for each measured site in the Southern Mattole by year. Where duplicate streams names appear the sites are arranged in downstream (left) to upstream (right) order. Baker Creek, Bridge Creek, Thompson Creek and the mainstem Mattole River exceeded stressful temperatures for salmonids. Sites measured in multiple years show no trend but indicate that 1999 was a relatively cool year. Click on Picture for a map of site locations.
