Caption:  This chart shows estimated sediment delivery rates (tons/sq. mi./yr) input to Dutch Bill Creek sub-watershed. Estimates were computed by decade for the Mendocino Redwood Company Willow/Freezeout Creeks WAU in 2001. Some estimates were not available for all erosion source types for all years. High sediment yields from skid trails in the 1960's and 1980's are associated with the use of tractor-based logging in those decades. See InfoLinks for more information.
