| Caption: This graph shows the average estimated number of yearling or older steelhead per 100 feet of stream for eight Redwood Creek sites sampled in the period 1992-2001. Sites selected for sampling varied among years and no sampling occurred in 1999. Site 4 was only sampled in two years and showed much higher abundance than other sites. This variation limits the usefulness of overall yearly averages for monitoring trends. Data were collected by Dr. Jerry J. Smith of San Jose State University except in October 1998 when it was collected by Darren Fong of Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA).
