Fish: Redwood Creek Spawner Coho Salmon PLD 1969-2002 |
|
Caption: The Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA) compiled the Peak Live plus cumulative Dead (PLD) indexes for coho salmon for spawner surveys completed between 1969 and 2002. The PLD index is used to help facilitate comparisons of survey data, which may use different methods, between years. PLD values derived from years which include only one survey (1969, 1977-78, and 1985-86) may not represent the true peak number of fish. Subsequent years involved at least five surveys. The first three years of data were collected by the California Department of Fish and Game and the remaining data were collected by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
