Caption:  This chart shows permeability measurements of pool-tail gravels in the North Fork Garcia in 1999. The mean permeability (dashed pink line) is 2515 cm/hr, while lower and upper confidence interval limits are 1699 cm/hr and 3332 cm/hr, respectively. While these values are above many Garcia River sites measured, the permeabilities in the North Fork were half those in Blue Waterhole Creek and Mill Creek (see Basinwide Topic: Sediment: 1999 Permeability - Garcia Pool-Tails, McBain&Trush).
