Fish: Mill Cr Downstream Trap Results 1994 |
|
Caption: The chart above shows the raw catch downstream migrant trap results for Mill Creek for the spring and summer of 1994. Trapping commenced on 3/8/94 and ran through 8/4/94 and sampling took place on 75 days. Two traps were operated in Mill Creek and the results above reflect the total of both traps. Chinook juveniles were the most numerous species, then dace, followed by steelhead greater than 70 mm (SH_OLDER), then steelhead young of the year (<70 mm). Coho are present in samples only at very low levels. AMMOC is ammocoetes or Pacific lamprey larvae. The winter and spring of 1994 were very dry and therefore flows in Mill Creek were low and trapping was relatively efficient. The data were collected by the Hoopa Tribal Fisheries Department. See the Source Table for complete records including flow, water temperature and hours trapped.
