Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Horse Linto @ 4 Locations 1997 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of Horse Linto Creek at four sites in 1997 is shown above. The maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeded 16.8 C at two lower Horse Linto Creek locations, above Cedar Creek and at the USFS road bridge. The latter location cooled slightly due to the influence of Cedar Creek. Upper Horse Linto was the coolest location. The threshold represents suitability for coho salmon according to Welsh et al. (2001). Similar temperature thresholds have not been confirmed for the Klamath Basin and therefore threshold is shown only for reference. Data provided by Six Rivers National Forest.
