Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Willow Creek @ 3 Locations 1997 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of Willow Creek at three sites in 1997 is shown above. Both the East Fork and Willow Creek below the East Fork were at optimal temperatures for salmonids. The maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) just above the mouth at the USFS downstream migrant trap exceeded 16.8 C for a considerable period. This threshold represents suitability for coho salmon according to Welsh et al. (2001). See Info Links for more information. Data provided by Six Rivers National Forest.
