Supplemental InformationOregon State University conducted a study of the water temperature of the mainstem Klamath River from below Iron Gate Dam to below the Scott River in 1996. The study employed Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR) to characterize surface water temperatures. OSU also radio tagged Chinook salmon and monitored their locations during the time of the survey. Images shown in KRIS are taken from the OSU ArcView project which was completed in support of this project.
