Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Klamath Tree Heaven to Lower 1999 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of the Klamath River is shown (upstream to down stream) from Tree of Heaven, Seiad Valley, Orleans, Weitchpec and Young's Ranch in the Lower Klamath for June through November 1999. Interior locations Tree of Heaven and Seiad Valley usually had warmer floating weekly average temperatures in June and July but Weitchpec and Orleans had the highest maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) in late August. The Orleans and Weitchpec floating weekly average temperature were so similar in 1999 that it is hard to tell the locations apart. Young's Ranch is below the confluence of the Trinity River. Data were collected and entered into KRIS by the Yurok Tribal Fisheries Department, Water Rights Division, Weitchpec, CA. See Info Links for more information.
