Flow: Inflow vs. Trinity 1979 |
|
Caption: The 1979 water year was a moderate rainfall and snow fall year and yet daily flows entering Trinity Lake in May reached almost 8000 cfs. Flows below the dam in the Trinity River at Lewiston were held at an almost constant level of 300 cfs, which sometimes exceeded natural flow levels that would have occurred from natural runoff patterns during fall and summer. Data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Geologic Survey.
