|
Caption: This graph shows the ten most abundant species of aquatic insect larvae found in a sample taken from Butler Creek. The relatively even distribution of abundance of the ten most numerous taxa is referred to as high evenness and is indicative of a healthy community. Data were collected in 1994 by students at Forks of Salmon School as part of a macroinvertebrate environmental education project.
