| Caption: Total Kjeldahl nitrogen includes nitrogen from plant and animal sources as well as in the form of ammonia. This parameter was measured by staff of the Trinity County Resource Conservation District and the Weaverville Natural Resources Conservation Service. Results show elevated levels of nitrogen occurred in lower Salt Creek during September 1994 when flows would have been extremely low. Both 8/15/95 and 11/13/95 may be showing some pattern of increase in a downstream direction (right to left). | |
