Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Bear Cr (Trib of Hayfork) 1991-92 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of Bear Creek, tributary of Hayfork Creek, is shown above for the years 1991-1992. Water temperatures in Bear Creek were optimal for salmonids throughout the summer in both years despite very low flows in both these years. The maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) did not exceed the threshold for suitability for coho salmon according to Welsh et al. (2001). Data provided by Shasta Trinity National Forest but was trimmed for outliers by the Forest Science Project (now known as the Institute for Forest and Watershed Management).
