Temperature: Floating Weekly Average SF Trinity (5) Slide Cr 1991-1992 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of the South Fork Trinity River at Slide Creek is shown above for the years 1991-1992. Water temperatures in the South Fork Trinity River at Slide Creek were not optimal for salmonids throughout the summer in both years. However, this location has much more moderate water temperatures than mainstem SF Trinity gauges either upstream or downstream. The maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds the threshold for suitability for coho salmon according to Welsh et al. (2001). Data provided by Shasta Trinity National Forest. See Info Links for more information. See Picture for a map of gauge locations.
