Topic	Habitat: Average Percent Cover for Navarro River and Tributaries 1996

 

Caption:  The chart shows the percent cover for streams surveyed in the Navarro River Basin in 1996 by Entrix et al. (1998). The study followed CDFG (1998) methods which describe the parameter: "Instream shelter percent covered is a measure of the area of a habitat unit occupied by instream shelter. The area is estimated from an overhead view". Pools in all reaches had less than 40% cover. Data were published in the Navarro Watershed Restoration Plan. See Info Links for more information.
