Caption:  The chart shows hatchery steelhead released in the Navarro basin between 1972 and 1981. Information comes from National Marine Fisheries Service report published on their website citing California Department of Fish and Game data. No breakdown by year is available for the period 1975-1981. A CDFG memo dated August 11, 1972, provides details of a fish kill on Soda Creek on May 7, 1972, when copper sulphate was released into the stream.
