Caption:  The Chart Table "v_star_Greenwood.dbf" displays the values from Greenwood Creek. 1992 values are from Knopp (1993) and 1993 values are from a master's thesis (Lydgate, unpublished). V* is in percent. A V* of 50% means half of the residual pool is filled with fine sediment. Field definitions are as follows (for best viewing, use the "F7" key): NAME = self explanatory. REACH = Reach number established by Knopp (1993). YEAR = self explanatory. POOL = self explanatory. YEAR_POOL = the year and pool number in one column. POOL_VOL = the volume of the scoured residual pool in cubic meters. V_STAR = the proportion (%) of fine sediment in the residual pool. WATER_VOL = the proportion (%) of water in the residual pool. V_STAR_W = the weighted average V* for the reach. STDEV = the standard deviation of V* from the weighted mean. See Info Links for more information.
