Fish: Electrofishing Steelhead by Length Navarro Station #1 1952 |

Caption: The chart shows the length of the juvenile steelhead in electrofishing samples collected by Kimsey (CDFG, 1953) in the Navarro River at Station 1 just downstream of Flume Gulch on August 12, 1952. Fish ranged in length from two inches (50 mm) to just over five inches (125 mm). Yearling steelhead are generally those between four and six inches (100 mm-150 mm). Young of the year steelhead, which are less than four inches long, are in colored blue on the chart above, with yearlings in light green. There were no two year old steelhead or resident trout at this location. Data are derived from a California Department of Fish and Game (1953) memo by J.B Kimsey. See Info Links for more information.
