Temperature: FWA, North Fork Navarro and Tributaries 1995 |
|
Caption: The chart shows the floating weekly average water temperature in Celsius (C) of North Fork Navarro River and major tributaries for 1995. Floating weekly average water temperatures exceeded 16.8°C for long durations at each location. Notice that streams gain temperature as they flow downstream, except the mainstem which cools from the Demonstration Forest to Dimmick State Park. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds 16.8°C. See Info Links for more information. Temperature data provided by the Mendocino County Water Agency (MCWA).
