Temperature: Temp Floating Wkly Max MS Salmon Below Wooley 2000-2002 |
|
Caption: This chart shows the floating maximum weekly water temperatures of the Mainstem Salmon River below Wooley Creek in 2000 and 2001. Note that temperatures were in the range stressful for Salmonids for much of both summers. Data for this chart was derived from automated temperature sensors called Hobotemps, which were anchored in flowing water in the shade. Hobotemps were monitored by students at Forks of Salmon School, community volunteers, paid staff of the Salmon River Restoration Council and USFS.
