Temperature: Temp Max Wooley and Steinacher Creeks 2000 |
|
Caption: These data comes from the Karuk Tribe's Hobo temp sensors. The Hobo on Wooley Creek was located about 60 feet up from the mouth (below the Steinacher confluence). The Hobo on Steinacher Creek was located approximately .5 miles up the creek. Both drainages are characterized by having steep granitic slopes which have a high potential of producing a great amount of sediment to the Salmon River. Wooley Creek provides habitat for endangered Spring Chinook salmon and is designated as a key watershed, located entirely within the Marble Mountain Wilderness.
