Timber Harvest: South Fork Trinity - Harvested Percent, GMA 1970-2003 |
|
Caption: This chart shows the percent of subwatersheds harvested within the South Fork Trinity Watershed. The reference to 25% of a watershed area harvested comes from Reeves et al. (1993), who found that harvest over that level compromised Pacific salmon species diversity in Oregon Coastal streams. The data in this chart are combined from USFS files and aerial photo analysis by Graham Matthews and Associates for the South Fork Trinity River Water Quality Monitoring Project (2003).
